Seating: 1694, VIP seats: 147) Shelter's Jerônimo Schmidt started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Vinícius Varela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kléberson Alves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jerônimo Schmidt's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Rui Campidelis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Shelter's supporters rose to their feet, but Rui Campidelis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kléberson Alves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eurico Baiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Kléberson Alves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Rony Prata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jerônimo Schmidt might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kléberson Alves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jerônimo Schmidt ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 22nd minute, Jerônimo Schmidt made a precise shot to the right of Kléberson Alves. Ibatiba's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jerônimo Schmidt in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kléberson Alves saved Ibatiba from getting behind. After 28 played minutes Ibatiba got a freekick which was hit by Caio Coutinho. In the 31st match minute, Ibatiba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Álvaro Loureiro to maneuver through the defense. After 32 played minutes Shelter got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Salles. When Shelter's Jerônimo Schmidt in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ibatiba's goalie prevented a goal. Through an outstanding action, after 39 minutes, Kléberson Alves successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The supporters of Ibatiba booed when Shelter was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Campidelis didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Jerônimo Schmidt kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kléberson Alves. That made the score 2-0 in the 43 minute of play.
Deng Yang Ping showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vinícius Varela in the 52nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rui Campidelis in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kléberson Alves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 54 minutes, Jerônimo Schmidt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Shelter's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jerônimo Schmidt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Osmar Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80thth minute of the game Eurico Baiano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ibatiba's Kléberson Alves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vinícius Varela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 85 minutes, Jerônimo Schmidt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Shelter had played much better football throughout.
