Bernard Bojanowski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Maurício Rocha came out and tried to block the shot, but Bernard Bojanowski slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 6th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Bernard Bojanowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Granito RS's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernard Bojanowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maurício Rocha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 12 minutes into the match, Granito RS's Manuel Toscano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maurício Rocha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bernard Bojanowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maurício Rocha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Granito RS's goal looked a bit too open when Diamantino Sampaio came free, but Fernan Ralondo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute Mostarda EC were awarded a corner. Mateus Dantas went to the cornerflag to take it. Fábio Cavalcante tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Fernan Ralondo. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-1 in the 17th minute. In the 21st match minute, Mostarda EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reginaldo Paraense to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Maurício Rocha managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Granito RS's Manuel Toscano fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Fernan Ralondo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reginaldo Paraense, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Fernan Ralondo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Maria Loyola in the 28th minute of play. A collision led to Mostarda EC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Aílton Pimenta hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Granito RS's Bernard Bojanowski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Maurício Rocha. That made the score 3-1 after 41 minutes of play. Granito RS's Fernan Ralondo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Maria Loyola in the 45th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for José Maria Loyola to strike the kick off in the second half. Bernard Bojanowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aílton Pimenta kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Diamantino Sampaio came free with the goalkeeper in the 62nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Fernan Ralondo could save by the left post. In the 66th match minute, Granito RS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fábio Cavalcante to maneuver through the defense. Mateus Dantas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 67th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fernan Ralondo. Granito RS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Fernan Ralondo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Maria Loyola in the 69th minute of play. Granito RS's Fernan Ralondo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Granito RS from getting a goal against them. 74 minutes into the match, Bernard Bojanowski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maurício Rocha. Mostarda EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernard Bojanowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. When José Maria Loyola came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Mostarda EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Maria Loyola couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Granito RS's Fernan Ralondo got control of the ball when Allan Paranaense tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Bernard Bojanowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Mostarda EC defense, Roberto de Sena kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maurício Rocha. The Mostarda EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maurício Rocha should have stopped the shot. Bernard Bojanowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Granito RS players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
