Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cido Silveira started the match with the kick off. Edinho Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tião Santos having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Felippe de Sousa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caiubi SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Felippe de Sousa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tião Santos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Caiubi SS booed when Tuiuti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juninho Severo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Felippe de Sousa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caiubi SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Felippe de Sousa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tião Santos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Caiubi SS's Dráuzio de Amorim got a free kick in the 15th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renan Sampaio in the 17th minute of play forced Caiubi SS's goalkeeper Jacinto Xavier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Caiubi SS's goal looked a bit too open when Renan Sampaio came free, but Jacinto Xavier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes into the game, Renan Sampaio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tuiuti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caiubi SS the free kick. Renan Sampaio kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. A collision led to Caiubi SS getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Dráuzio de Amorim hit a great ball. In the 35th minute Renan Sampaio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Xavier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 39th minute by Felippe de Sousa got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ivo Pitta hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Jacinto Xavier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wágner Ferraz in the 43rd minute of the match. After having played for 46 minutes, Cido Silveira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tuiuti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cido Silveira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Felippe de Sousa made a kick off. In the 57th match minute, Tuiuti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renan Sampaio to maneuver through the defense. In the 60thth minute of the game Cido Silveira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caiubi SS's Jacinto Xavier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jacinto Xavier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilton Leão in the 62nd minute of play. Jacinto Xavier made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Renan Sampaio sent off a good shot on target. Felippe de Sousa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Tião Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Wilton Leão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Ivo Pitta fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tuiuti's protests and gave Ivo Pitta a yellow card for diving instead. After 76 played minutes Tuiuti got a freekick which was hit by Ivo Pitta. Jacinto Xavier made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Renan Sampaio sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wágner Ferraz got free with Jacinto Xavier in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jacinto Xavier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilton Leão, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Renan Sampaio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Xavier having to interfere. Dário Simões took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 93rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jacinto Xavier. Caiubi SS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Tuiuti's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
