Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Augusto Toledo took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Augusto Toledo came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Flamengo RJ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augusto Toledo couldn't finish the play. Flamengo RJ were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after Tuiuti's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Sarmento took the corner. Joel Sarmento made a great header on Flamengo RJ's corner, it was just that Tuiuti's Tião Santos managed to reach the ball for a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wágner Ferraz got free with Olívio Vergílio in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Flamengo RJ's Olívio Vergílio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cido Silveira in the 15th minute of play. In the 20th minute Cido Silveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olívio Vergílio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Wágner Ferraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 28 minutes into the match, Tuiuti's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Fernando Simões came free, but Tião Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wágner Ferraz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31st minute Wilton Leão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olívio Vergílio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joel Sarmento kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Olívio Vergílio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cido Silveira in the 35th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Augusto Breckenfeld in the 40th minute of play forced Tuiuti's goalkeeper Tião Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute, Tuiuti's Wilton Leão dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. With a little luck, Flamengo RJ's Olívio Vergílio got control of the ball when Wágner Ferraz tried to sneak it across the goal line.

After a rather tough play, Tuiuti's Elias Trancoso got a free kick in the 59th minute. Olívio Vergílio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cido Silveira in the 65th minute of play. Wilton Leão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Olívio Vergílio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute Wilton Leão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olívio Vergílio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olívio Vergílio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wágner Ferraz in the 74th minute of play. Olívio Vergílio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wágner Ferraz in the 75th minute of the match. Olívio Vergílio came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Tuiuti's Wágner Ferraz. But to his dismay, Wágner Ferraz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 80th minute, Wilton Leão made a precise shot to the right of Olívio Vergílio. Flamengo RJ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. In the 84th match minute, Flamengo RJ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Toledo to maneuver through the defense. Olívio Vergílio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wágner Ferraz's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Olívio Vergílio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cido Silveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tuiuti's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
