A very good chance for a goal. 9 minutes into the match, Cabaca FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cido Silveira came free, but Dário Moura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Cido Silveira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dário Moura. Cabaca FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cido Silveira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 11 played minutes Tuiuti got a freekick which was hit by Wilton Leão. Wágner Ferraz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dário Moura read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wágner Ferraz in the 17th minute of play forced Cabaca FC's goalkeeper Dário Moura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Cabaca FC's zone, Wágner Ferraz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dário Moura came out of the goal and Wágner Ferraz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a defensive mix-up in Tuiuti's zone, Delfim Pitta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tião Santos came out of the goal and Delfim Pitta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dário Moura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cido Silveira in the 22nd minute of the match. Cido Silveira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dário Moura read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Tuiuti were furious when Gualter Cardozo was red carded, 33 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Dário Moura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wágner Ferraz in the 37th minute of play. Reginaldo Cosme charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Reginaldo Cosme the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Reginaldo Cosme kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 39th minute, Reginaldo Cosme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Tuiuti's Tião Santos got control of the ball when Christiano de Andrade tried to sneak it across the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

52 minutes into the match, Cabaca FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wágner Ferraz came free, but Dário Moura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tião Santos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Dário Moura made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Wágner Ferraz sent off a good shot on target. Delfim Pitta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Renan Sampaio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Wágner Ferraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Cabaca FC's Dário Moura got control of the ball when Wágner Ferraz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ivo Pitta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Renan Sampaio struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Dário Moura didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tuiuti. After a defensive mix-up in Cabaca FC's zone, Wágner Ferraz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dário Moura came out of the goal and Wágner Ferraz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 86 minutes into the match, Wilton Leão dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dário Moura, 1-2. Wágner Ferraz struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Dário Moura didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tuiuti. If Ivo Pitta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Wágner Ferraz came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Tuiuti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wágner Ferraz couldn't finish the play. Tuiuti played a much better game than Cabaca FC and deserved their victory. The Cabaca FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
