Bernard Bojanowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cléber Ferraz having to interfere. 18 minutes into the game, Bernard Bojanowski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Cléber Ferraz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Bernard Bojanowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robinho Barral got free with Cléber Ferraz in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fernan Ralondo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar do Valle in the 27th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the game, Manuel Toscano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Granito RS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Variante the free kick. The supporters of Variante booed when Granito RS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Toscano didn't get a good kick on the ball. During the 31st minute of the match Ademar Ramos completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ademar Ramos a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Manuel Toscano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Granito RS's supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel Toscano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cléber Ferraz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Granito RS's Bernard Bojanowski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cléber Ferraz. That made the score 2-0 after 35 minutes of play. Bernard Bojanowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute, Raúl Abraão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Roberto de Sena came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Granito RS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roberto de Sena couldn't finish the play.

In the 53rdth minute of the game Bernard Bojanowski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Variante's Cléber Ferraz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 56th minute Bernard Bojanowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cléber Ferraz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Granito RS's zone, Oscar do Valle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernan Ralondo came out of the goal and Oscar do Valle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Granito RS's Fernan Ralondo got control of the ball when Oscar do Valle tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Robinho Barral fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Granito RS's protests and gave Robinho Barral a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Variante booed when Granito RS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robinho Barral didn't get a good kick on the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Granito RS's goalkeeper Fernan Ralondo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oscar do Valle. Cléber Ferraz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roberto de Sena's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. In the 82nd minute, Robinho Barral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Bernard Bojanowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tiago Gabriel Albuquerque hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. 92 minutes into the game, Raúl Abraão was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Granito RS had played much better football throughout.
