When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Augusto Toledo put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Luiz Guilherme de Andrade.

Benedito Brasil struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Luiz Guilherme de Andrade didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Flamengo RJ.
