After some careless play in the Caiubi SS defense, Bernard Bojanowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jacinto Xavier. The Caiubi SS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacinto Xavier should have stopped the shot. Caiubi SS's Jacinto Xavier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto de Sena in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th minute of the match Edinho Oliveira shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jacinto Xavier showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Caiubi SS's Jacinto Xavier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto de Sena in the 18th minute of play. A collision led to Caiubi SS getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Dráuzio de Amorim hit a great ball. In the 20th minute Roberto de Sena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Xavier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agostinho Macedo in the 25th minute of play forced Granito RS's goalkeeper Fernan Ralondo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th play minute Agostinho Macedo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Fernan Ralondo. 1-1. Bernard Bojanowski scored 1-2 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacinto Xavier, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Ulisses Souza came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Caiubi SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulisses Souza couldn't finish the play. 36 minutes into the match, Bernard Bojanowski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacinto Xavier. Caiubi SS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernard Bojanowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Felippe de Sousa struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Fernan Ralondo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caiubi SS.

Felippe de Sousa kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Granito RS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bernard Bojanowski in the 53rd minute. Robinho Barral hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Roberto de Sena struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Jacinto Xavier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Granito RS. In the 61st minute, Ulisses Souza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Caiubi SS getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Agostinho Macedo hit a great ball. 65 minutes into the game, Roberto de Sena recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jacinto Xavier. Roberto de Sena showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. Felippe de Sousa charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felippe de Sousa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Granito RS booed when Caiubi SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felippe de Sousa didn't get a good kick on the ball. During the 75th minute of the match Felippe de Sousa completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Felippe de Sousa a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Caiubi SS getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Felippe de Sousa hit a great ball. Bernard Bojanowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Jacinto Xavier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Bernard Bojanowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Granito RS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-6. 97 minutes into the match, Caiubi SS's goalkeeper Jacinto Xavier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernard Bojanowski. The Granito RS supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Granito RS would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
