Spectators: 7236 (Terracing: 5429, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Doni Rodrigues started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Cabaca FC getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Bernardinho Paes hit a great ball. Bernard Bojanowski came free with the goalkeeper in the 7th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dário Moura could save by the left post. A collision led to Cabaca FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Moisés Cunha hit a great ball. Granito RS's Bernard Bojanowski got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Doni Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dário Moura made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Robinho Barral sent off a good shot on target. Granito RS's Bernard Bojanowski pulled a muscle in his leg after 27 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 27 minutes, Bernardinho Paes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cabaca FC and the Granito RS players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 29th minute, Bernardinho Paes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 31 played minutes, Cabaca FC's Moisés Cunha shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fernan Ralondo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cabaca FC reached it. Cabaca FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Tomás Jacinto scored to the left of an out of position Dário Moura, making the score, 1-0. Edson Cardozo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Dário Moura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. During the 47th minute of the match Bernardinho Paes completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Bernardinho Paes a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Cabaca FC getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Bernardinho Paes hit a great ball. Granito RS's Doni Rodrigues got a good chance for a goal in the 49th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Christiano de Andrade made a kick off. When Tomás Jacinto came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Granito RS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomás Jacinto couldn't finish the play. Cabaca FC's Dário Moura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Jacinto in the 59th minute of play. Dário Moura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doni Rodrigues, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 62nd minute, Tomás Jacinto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Christiano de Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Fernan Ralondo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70thth minute of the game Doni Rodrigues who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cabaca FC's Dário Moura was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 71 played minutes Granito RS got a freekick which was hit by Edson Cardozo. Reginaldo Cosme could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Fernan Ralondo made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Christiano de Andrade managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cabaca FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Christiano de Andrade was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernan Ralondo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Tomás Jacinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute, Durval Passos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomás Jacinto struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Dário Moura didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Granito RS. Dário Moura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Jacinto in the 83rd minute of the match. Reginaldo Cosme kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Edson Cardozo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dário Moura having to interfere. Dário Moura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robinho Barral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reginaldo Cosme kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Jacinto in the 97th minute of play forced Cabaca FC's goalkeeper Dário Moura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the Granito RS players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
