Dário Simões made a great header on Tuiuti's corner, it was just that Corinthians2012's Antônio Carlos de Lara managed to reach the ball for a save. Cido Silveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Corinthians2012 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tuiuti were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cido Silveira to strike the kick off in the second half. Antônio Carlos de Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Corinthians2012 getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Eduardo Azevedo hit a great ball. Wágner Ferraz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antônio Carlos de Lara having to interfere. When Wágner Ferraz came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Tuiuti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wágner Ferraz couldn't finish the play. Antônio Carlos de Lara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cido Silveira in the 77th minute of play. Wágner Ferraz succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 78th playminute. In the 81st match minute, Tuiuti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renan Sampaio to maneuver through the defense. Cido Silveira struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Antônio Carlos de Lara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tuiuti. Cido Silveira really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. The Tuiuti supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Tuiuti would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
