Descalvado FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Gustavo Simões was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. William de Lara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 45 minutes into the match, Luiz Gustavo Simões had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of William de Lara. Leonardo Proenças short, quick shot in the 83rdth minute got William de Lara to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Ingleses do Rio vermelho's Afonso Moreno got a free kick in the 84th minute. Afonso Moreno was shown his second yellow card after 93 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Descalvado FC booed when Ingleses do Rio vermelho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afonso Moreno didn't get a good kick on the ball. William de Lara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Gustavo Simões, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
