After a defensive mix-up in GladiadoresFC's zone, Germano Pinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diamantino Carvalho came out of the goal and Germano Pinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Diamantino Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Faria in the 35th minute of the match. Diamantino Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Germano Pinho in the 36th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, GladiadoresFC's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Proença came free, but Diamantino Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the GladiadoresFC defense, Germano Pinho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Diamantino Carvalho. The GladiadoresFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Diamantino Carvalho should have stopped the shot.

The wind increased when Germano Pinho made the kick off in the second half. Diamantino Carvalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Germano Pinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Donato Faria's late challenge caught a GladiadoresFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Donato Faria helped the player get up and apologised. After 58 played minutes Descalvado FC got a freekick which was hit by Donato Faria. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gildo Lago in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Orlando Hoffmann saved Descalvado FC from getting behind. Donato Faria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Diamantino Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Germano Pinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diamantino Carvalho having to interfere. Germano Pinho struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Diamantino Carvalho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Descalvado FC. Descalvado FC played a much better game than GladiadoresFC and deserved their victory. The GladiadoresFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
