Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Wesley Tavares started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Serafim França got free with Osmar Marinho in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Márcio Lucas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. William de Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wanderson Nogueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fidelo's goalkeeper Osmar Marinho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Wesley Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wanderson Nogueira struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. William de Lara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fidelo. When Victor Couto fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ingleses do Rio vermelho's protests and gave Victor Couto a yellow card for diving instead. In the 33rd match minute, Ingleses do Rio vermelho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Couto to maneuver through the defense. After 34 played minutes Vicente Pirani shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Ingleses do Rio vermelho's William de Lara to catch but Vicente Pirani was lucky. It became 0-1 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. Fidelo's Osmar Marinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wesley Tavares in the 50th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wanderson Nogueira to strike the kick off in the second half. Wesley Tavares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Fidelo getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Marcelinho Vergílio hit a great ball. 62 minutes into the match, Fidelo's goal looked a bit too open when Wesley Tavares came free, but Osmar Marinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wanderson Nogueira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without William de Lara having to make a save. Wesley Tavares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Osmar Marinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 70 minutes, Júnior de Azevedo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ingleses do Rio vermelho and the Fidelo players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 70th match minute, Ingleses do Rio vermelho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Júnior de Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. William de Lara came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Fidelo's Wanderson Nogueira. But to his dismay, Wanderson Nogueira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Wanderson Nogueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without William de Lara having to interfere. When Wesley Tavares came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Ingleses do Rio vermelho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wesley Tavares couldn't finish the play. Wesley Tavares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
