When Serafim França came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Ingleses do Rio vermelho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serafim França couldn't finish the play. With his leg Célio Simão managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when Ingleses do Rio vermelho's Serafim França fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Ingleses do Rio vermelho's Wesley Tavares in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Wesley Tavares had several of the Sabiuca's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 35 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Célio Simão as he didn't even see the shot coming. After a defensive mix-up in Sabiuca's zone, Wesley Tavares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Célio Simão came out of the goal and Wesley Tavares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Luiz Paulo de Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Duarte Lago kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. When Serafim França came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Ingleses do Rio vermelho fans jumped to their feet. Célio Simão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wesley Tavares in the 82nd minute of play. Victor Couto hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Ingleses do Rio vermelho were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Sabiuca for a fine match.
