Júnior de Azevedo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 6th match minute, Ingleses do Rio vermelho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Júnior de Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. Paulo Domingues came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Ingleses do Rio vermelho's Serafim França. But to his dismay, Serafim França quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpected shot in the 13th minute by Nelsinho Lago got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Ivo Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With an all-out effort, Rubro Negro Rj's William de Lara threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nelsinho Lago, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Wesley Tavares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ingleses do Rio vermelho's supporters rose to their feet, but Wesley Tavares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Domingues breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nelsinho Lago recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Serafim França sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ingleses do Rio vermelho's Wesley Tavares got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. William de Lara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kiko Neves in the 38th minute of the match. Nelsinho Lago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. William de Lara was out of position in the 42 minute of play, and Bernardo Magalhães capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bernardo Magalhães really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Victor Couto hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Nelsinho Lago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The wind increased when Wesley Tavares made the kick off in the second half. William de Lara came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Rubro Negro Rj's Nelsinho Lago. But to his dismay, Nelsinho Lago quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. William de Lara didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Caco Lago went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. William de Lara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivo Gonçalves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Rubro Negro Rj booed when Ingleses do Rio vermelho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Couto didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Victor Couto fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ingleses do Rio vermelho's protests and gave Victor Couto a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ingleses do Rio vermelho getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Victor Couto hit a great ball. 75 minutes into the game, one of Ingleses do Rio vermelho:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Caco Lago managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rubro Negro Rj's supporters rose to their feet, but Caco Lago was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivo Gonçalves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. William de Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 6-1 when Nelsinho Lago sped through Ingleses do Rio vermelho's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of William de Lara. In the 91st minute Nelsinho Lago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but William de Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Kiko Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
