In the 14th match minute, Deadpool FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinho Gonçalves to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giuseppe Andrade in the 18th minute of play forced Ipucaba's goalkeeper Fábio Teles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Deadpool FC's Giuseppe Andrade was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 20th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Tião Queirós kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. When Belmiro Pernambucano came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Ipucaba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Belmiro Pernambucano couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Edgar Moura's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alan Maia was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabriel Brasil got free with Fábio Teles in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Ipucaba's Belmiro Pernambucano got a free kick in the 34th minute. Gabriel Brasil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Fábio Teles made a huge save. Fábio Teles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giuseppe Andrade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fábio Teles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claudinho Gonçalves in the 44th minute. Tião Queirós scored 3-0 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fábio Teles, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Giuseppe Andrade was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Belmiro Pernambucano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alan Maia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Giuseppe Andrade blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fábio Teles having to make a save. After 54 played minutes Ipucaba got a freekick which was hit by Jean Leal. Fábio Teles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Brasil in the 57th minute of play. When Jailson Correia fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deadpool FC's protests and gave Jailson Correia a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Ipucaba booed when Deadpool FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jailson Correia didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Fabiano Mandrak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fábio Teles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Brasil in the 68th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ipucaba's Edmílson Freitas got a free kick in the 69th minute. Belmiro Pernambucano took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alan Maia. Alan Maia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Fábio Teles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Brasil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the match, Ipucaba's goal looked a bit too open when Tião Queirós came free, but Fábio Teles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
