The LURAFA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 47 minutes into the match, LURAFA's goal looked a bit too open when Geovânio de Lima came free, but Alan França reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The wind increased when Simão Fantini made the kick off in the second half. Pirajuda FC's Lenílson Souto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simão Fantini in the 84th minute of play. Zé Roberto Nóbregas short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Lenílson Souto to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wilton Coutinho during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 89 played minutes Pirajuda FC got a freekick which was hit by Wilton Coutinho. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geovânio de Lima in the 95th minute of play forced LURAFA's goalkeeper Alan França to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. LURAFA walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
