When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Michal Preisler took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Túlio Castro to make any attempt to save it. Bocayuval's Túlio Castro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Bocayuval from getting a goal against them. The Bocayuval fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 24 minutes into the match, Bocayuval's goal looked a bit too open when Michal Preisler came free, but Túlio Castro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Dream Team RN - FDFDF's Augusto de Carvalho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Túlio Castro. That made the score 2-2 after 28 minutes of play. The supporters of Dream Team RN - FDFDF booed when Bocayuval was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Nascimento didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 34 played minutes Dream Team RN - FDFDF got a freekick which was hit by Mauro de Amaral. Augusto de Carvalho had several of the Bocayuval's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 36 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-2 score and a disappointed Túlio Castro as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 39th minute, Dream Team RN - FDFDF's Sílvio Travassos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Túlio Castro. Túlio Castro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Koehler in the 46th minute of play forced Dream Team RN - FDFDF's goalkeeper Vicente Cearense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Augusto de Carvalho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bocayuval's Túlio Castro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto de Carvalho in the 52nd minute of play. Oscar Simão hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Dream Team RN - FDFDF's Anísio Paraense was substituted for Hudson Vasconcelos. Dream Team RN - FDFDF's Alan Madureira was substituted for Cícero das Neves. After 62 played minutes Bocayuval got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Simão. In the 73rd minute, Bocayuval's Rodrigo Koehler ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vicente Cearense. Vicente Cearense yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 6-4. The supporters of Bocayuval booed when Dream Team RN - FDFDF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Madureira didn't get a good kick on the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Sílvio Travassos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Túlio Castro. Bocayuval's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sílvio Travassos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-4. In the 86th minute Michal Preisler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Túlio Castro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Josué Albuquerque's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 91stth minute, Vicente Cearense skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Túlio Castro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anísio Paraense in the 95th minute of the match. Túlio Castro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sílvio Travassos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew the final whistle, Dream Team RN - FDFDF could leave the field as winners, despite Bocayuval having more of the ball for most of the match.
