Matheus Barros was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. When Maurinho Rosado came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Maktub fans jumped to their feet. Maktub's Matheus Barros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cícero Meirelles in the 67th minute of play. A collision led to Maktub getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Maktub's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atlético MS the free kick.
