The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, SC CORINTHIANS's Agnaldo Fontes got a free kick in the 10th minute. Dinei Sabóia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Silveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dinei Sabóia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edinho Hoffmann in the 13th minute of play. If Edgar Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dieguinho Ramos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frank Bezerra having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sandro de Brito got free with Frank Bezerra in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Shanna ARND S.C.'s Edinho Hoffmann got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edgar Silveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dinei Sabóia having to interfere. Dinei Sabóia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Silveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 36 minutes of play, Shanna ARND S.C.'s Edinho Hoffmann made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dinei Sabóia was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Shanna ARND S.C. getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Júlio Ramos hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in SC CORINTHIANS's zone, Edinho Hoffmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dinei Sabóia came out of the goal and Edinho Hoffmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Edgar Silveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dinei Sabóia having to interfere. If Edinho Hoffmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dieguinho Ramos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in SC CORINTHIANS's zone, Edgar Silveira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dinei Sabóia came out of the goal and Edgar Silveira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 71 minutes into the match, SC CORINTHIANS's goalkeeper Dinei Sabóia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edinho Hoffmann. When Shanna ARND S.C.'s Edgar Silveira in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC CORINTHIANS's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Shanna ARND S.C.'s Edgar Silveira slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dinei Sabóia. That made the score 0-2 after 78 minutes of play. Edinho Hoffmann's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 83rdth minute, Dinei Sabóia skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 85th minute, one of SC CORINTHIANS:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SC CORINTHIANS. Through an outstanding action, after 92 minutes, Dinei Sabóia successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.
