Cléber Duarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldinho Araújo in the 10th minute of the match. Ronaldinho Araújo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Cléber Duarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th match minute, Muirapinima FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeca Fonseca to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute, Ronaldinho Araújo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cléber Duarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geovânio de Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Edgard de Sena came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Muirapinima FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgard de Sena couldn't finish the play. In the 24th minute, Vivaldo Siqueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Pirajuda FC's Geovânio de Lima in 26 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Cléber Duarte guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Muirapinima FC's Cléber Duarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geovânio de Lima in the 28th minute of play. Pirajuda FC's Lenílson Souto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Pirajuda FC from getting a goal against them. Alberto Rezende hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Pirajuda FC's zone, Cleiton Galvão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lenílson Souto came out of the goal and Cleiton Galvão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lenílson Souto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgard de Sena in the 34th minute of the match. Cleiton Galvão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Lenílson Souto made a huge save. Ronaldinho Araújo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cléber Duarte read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Muirapinima FC's Zeca Fonseca got a free kick in the 37th minute. Wilton Coutinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cléber Duarte having to interfere. Cléber Duarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geovânio de Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edgard de Sena to strike the kick off in the second half. If Geovânio de Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cleiton Galvão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 56 minutes, Geovânio de Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pirajuda FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geovânio de Lima was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 57 minutes into the game, Vivaldo Siqueira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Muirapinima FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pirajuda FC the free kick. After 62 minutes of play, Pirajuda FC's Ronaldinho Araújo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cléber Duarte was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lenílson Souto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard de Sena in the 67th minute of play. Pirajuda FC's Lenílson Souto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard de Sena in the 73rd minute of play. If Edgard de Sena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Pirajuda FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Rodolfo Silva hit a great ball. Ronaldinho Araújo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cléber Duarte read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Edgard de Sena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute, Edgard de Sena made a precise shot to the right of Lenílson Souto. Pirajuda FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
