Ronaldinho Araújo might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alan França. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ronaldinho Araújo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 10th minute, Glauco Dionísio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11thth minute of the game Simão Fantini who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pirajuda FC's Lenílson Souto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. LURAFA's Zé Roberto Nóbrega got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lenílson Souto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simão Fantini, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Pirajuda FC's goalkeeper Lenílson Souto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zé Roberto Nóbrega. Pirajuda FC's Geovânio de Lima got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Pirajuda FC's Cauan Batista got a free kick in the 32nd minute. The supporters of Pirajuda FC booed when LURAFA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Fontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alan França took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldinho Araújo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alan França showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geovânio de Lima in the 40th minute of the match. Manuel Fontes kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Ronaldinho Araújo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in LURAFA's zone, Glauco Dionísio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alan França came out of the goal and Glauco Dionísio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Zé Roberto Nóbrega managed to get in a good position for a shot. LURAFA's supporters rose to their feet, but Zé Roberto Nóbrega was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lenílson Souto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 58 minutes into the match, Pirajuda FC's goal looked a bit too open when Simão Fantini came free, but Lenílson Souto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute Manuel Fontes suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Glauco Dionísio's late challenge caught a LURAFA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Glauco Dionísio helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Pirajuda FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Glauco Dionísio hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute of the match Carlos Fernando Dante shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lenílson Souto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 66 minutes into the game, Geovânio de Lima recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alan França. Geovânio de Lima showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. After 74 minutes, Ronaldinho Araújo made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. LURAFA's Alan França tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Pedro Mendonça hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Pirajuda FC's Ronaldinho Araújo got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 87th play minute Ronaldinho Araújo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Alan França. 0-3. After 92 minutes, Vivaldo Massa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pirajuda FC and the LURAFA players grew even worse after the yellow card. Geovânio de Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 97th minute, Zé Roberto Nóbrega left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LURAFA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3.
