Spectators: 7257 (Terracing: 5444, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 144) Vorse Raider's Júnior Couto started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Academia Tricolor's goalkeeper Nando Hoffmann, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With his leg Nando Hoffmann managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when Vorse Raider's Júnior Couto fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. André Luís de Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cléberson Pitta in the 20th minute of the match. André Luís de Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernandinho Pereira in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd minute Aníbal Barral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Luís de Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Vorse Raider's goal looked a bit too open when Fernandinho Pereira came free, but André Luís de Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Júnior Couto who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Nando Hoffmann when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Vorse Raider's Casimiro Abascal got a free kick in the 30th minute. If Júnior Couto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute Júnior Couto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nando Hoffmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Elias Quirino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when André Luiz Machado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. André Luís de Moraes came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Academia Tricolor's Cléberson Pitta. But to his dismay, Cléberson Pitta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Nando Hoffmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Pernambucano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Júnior Couto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vorse Raider's supporters rose to their feet, but Júnior Couto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nando Hoffmann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice moves Nilton Vargas could shoot a difficult shot in the 62nd minute, which André Luís de Moraes however easily saved by the left post. Nando Hoffmann stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Júnior Couto's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. The supporters of Vorse Raider booed when Academia Tricolor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leopoldo Torres didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 70 minutes Academia Tricolor's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nicolas Bezerra who took care of the corner kick. Nicolas Bezerra made a great header on Vorse Raider's corner, it was just that Academia Tricolor's Nando Hoffmann managed to reach the ball for a save. Júnior Couto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Nando Hoffmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 76 minutes, Faustão da Rocha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vorse Raider and the Academia Tricolor players grew even worse after the yellow card. Faustão da Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Mikhail Ilskiy lost his temper 78 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 77th minute, one of Vorse Raider:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Vorse Raider. If Casimiro Abascal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicolas Bezerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nando Hoffmann having to interfere. Vorse Raider's André Luís de Moraes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Vorse Raider from getting a goal against them. Luiz Fábio Trancoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nando Hoffmann having to interfere. Luiz Fábio Trancoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Nando Hoffmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
