Rony Tande kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Aníbal Goiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Luiz Sanches in the 16th minute of play. In the 21st minute of the match, Rony Tande tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Oscar Carioca saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 26th minute, Kaká Araújo made a precise shot to the right of Oscar Carioca. Pirilampo FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. A collision led to Pitbulls United getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Joélson Messias hit a great ball. 31 minutes into the match, Pirilampo FC's José Paulo Andrade broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Aníbal Goiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nico Sá, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. If Pedro Luiz Sanches had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pirilampo FC's Oscar Carioca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Pirilampo FC from getting a goal against them. After having played for 44 minutes, Nico Sá managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pirilampo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nico Sá was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Nico Sá received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Aníbal Goiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaká Araújo in the 54th minute of play forced Pirilampo FC's goalkeeper Oscar Carioca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aníbal Goiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Luiz Sanches in the 55th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Pirilampo FC's Pedro Luiz Sanches dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. 61 minutes into the match, Pitbulls United's Kaká Araújo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oscar Carioca narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Joélson Messias hit a great ball. Pirilampo FC played a much better game than Pitbulls United and deserved their victory. The Pitbulls United players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
