A very good chance. Remansu FC's Edmundo Saraiva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Remansu FC from getting a goal against them. Edmundo Saraiva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Clóvis de Barros in the 11th minute. Arnaldo Paranaense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Toninho Cerezo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Toninho Cerezo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaldo Paranaense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 23 played minutes Remansu FC got a freekick which was hit by Álvaro Tepedino. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eusébio Mendonça in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edmundo Saraiva saved Remansu FC from getting behind. After some careless play in the Remansu FC defense, Clóvis de Barros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edmundo Saraiva. The Remansu FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edmundo Saraiva should have stopped the shot. 37 minutes into the game, Zé Pedro Mineiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Beirao SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Remansu FC the free kick. Zé Pedro Mineiro kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Armando Mazza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toninho Cerezo having to interfere. When Zé Pedro Mineiro was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 44 minutes had been played. Zé Pedro Mineiro kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Dorival Medeiros might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Toninho Cerezo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dorival Medeiros ran back to his position shaking his head. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arnaldo Paranaense was the one to do the kick off. When Arnaldo Paranaense came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Remansu FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnaldo Paranaense couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Remansu FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Álvaro Tepedino hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Clóvis de Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Beirao SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Clóvis de Barros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edmundo Saraiva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Clóvis de Barros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jeferson Mendonça received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Edmundo Saraiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Beirao SS's goalkeeper Toninho Cerezo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Armando Mazza. Arnaldo Paranaense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toninho Cerezo having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Clóvis de Barros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dorival Medeiros charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dorival Medeiros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 96th minute, Clóvis de Barros ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edmundo Saraiva was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Beirao SS fully deserved thier win.
