Pitbulls United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlinhos Martins was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. If Luisinho Baiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luisinho Baiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Aníbal Goiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, Pitbulls United's goal looked a bit too open when Carlinhos Martins came free, but Aníbal Goiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aqua FC's Lenílson Sena managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Júnior Cardoso in the 20 minute of the game. In the 20th match minute, Pitbulls United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Fernando Souza to maneuver through the defense. When Rony Tande fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pitbulls United's protests and gave Rony Tande a yellow card for diving instead. In the 22nd minute, Rony Tande hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aníbal Goiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlinhos Martins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonel Pontes hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the last second Aníbal Goiano throw himself and got hold of the ball when Carlinhos Martins in the 26thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Aníbal Goiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisinho Baiano in the 30th minute of the match. Carlinhos Martins blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aníbal Goiano having to make a save. In the 34th minute, Carlinhos Martins got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luisinho Baiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Carlinhos Martins managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aqua FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlinhos Martins was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlinhos Martins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Silas Ferraz charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silas Ferraz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aníbal Goiano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlinhos Martins went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. In the 85th minute, Carlinhos Martins got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aníbal Goiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisinho Baiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute.
