Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ediberto Mineiro kicked off to start the match. After having played for 3 minutes, Aílton Madureira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guris bons de Bola FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aílton Madureira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 7 minutes of play, Convento FC's Cléberson Cruz made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jerônimo Madureira was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 13th match minute, Guris bons de Bola FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Sergipano to maneuver through the defense. Robinho Salgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cléberson Cruz struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Jerônimo Madureira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Convento FC. Robinho Salgado in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jerônimo Madureira, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After having played for 23 minutes, Ediberto Mineiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Juninho Cerezo came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Guris bons de Bola FC's Ediberto Mineiro. But to his dismay, Ediberto Mineiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cléberson Cruz in the 36th minute of play forced Guris bons de Bola FC's goalkeeper Jerônimo Madureira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Robinho Salgado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Cléberson Cruz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jerônimo Madureira was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. Cléberson Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerônimo Madureira having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cléberson Cruz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Guris bons de Bola FC's Perivaldo Linhares got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cléberson Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Convento FC fans' excitement grew in the 57th match minute when Convento FC's Cléberson Cruz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Cléberson Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cléberson Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Jerônimo Madureira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rafael Melo's late challenge caught a Convento FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rafael Melo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 73rd match minute, Guris bons de Bola FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Melo to maneuver through the defense. Juninho Cerezo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. 91 minutes into the match, Guris bons de Bola FC's goal looked a bit too open when Robinho Salgado came free, but Jerônimo Madureira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cássio Gomes charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cássio Gomes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Convento FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Cássio Gomes hit a great ball. Reginaldo Berger's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Juninho Cerezo - 2-3 was put on the score board in the 96th minute. Chants of Guris bons de Bola FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Convento FC had held the ball for most of the match.
