In the 20th minute Aílton Madureira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrianinho Urbano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronaldo Lara kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. When Fernando Bueno fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guris bons de Bola FC's protests and gave Fernando Bueno a yellow card for diving instead. Fernando Bueno hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Guris bons de Bola FC's Jerônimo Madureira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geraldo Dantas in the 28th minute of play. If Geraldo Dantas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adolfo Ramalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerônimo Madureira having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Guris bons de Bola FC's zone, Geraldo Dantas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jerônimo Madureira came out of the goal and Geraldo Dantas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Armindo da Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerônimo Madureira having to interfere. In the 39th minute Saul Paio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerônimo Madureira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nico Severo's late challenge caught a Galatasaray's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nico Severo helped the player get up and apologised. After 40 played minutes Guris bons de Bola FC got a freekick which was hit by Nico Severo. Jerônimo Madureira was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Pedrão Penha showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 46 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Jerônimo Madureira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geraldo Dantas in the 52nd minute of play. In the 52nd minute Alexsandro Cardoso suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. In the 54th minute, Perivaldo Linhares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 55th match minute, Guris bons de Bola FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Sergipano to maneuver through the defense. Guris bons de Bola FC's Jerônimo Madureira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ademir Madureira in the 57th minute of play. Galatasaray's Armindo da Cunha managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ricardo Sergipano in the 68 minute of the game. The referee felt a red card was in order, 72 minutes into the game, when Rafael Melo put in a rough tackle. Guris bons de Bola FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 77 played minutes Guris bons de Bola FC got a freekick which was hit by André Luís Custódio. When Galatasaray's Geraldo Dantas in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Jerônimo Madureira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Saul Paio went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. 94 minutes into the match, Saul Paio notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Guris bons de Bola FC's Jerônimo Madureira. Jerônimo Madureira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jerônimo Madureira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geraldo Dantas in the 99th minute of play. Galatasaray walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
