Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Convento FC's Cléberson Cruz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Robinho Salgado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aníbal Goiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cléberson Cruz in the 5th minute of the match. If Cléberson Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rony Tande fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juninho Cerezo having to interfere. After 11 played minutes Convento FC got a freekick which was hit by Duarte Cruz. Juninho Cerezo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rony Tande in the 19th minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Rony Tande ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juninho Cerezo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. With a little luck, Pitbulls United's Aníbal Goiano got control of the ball when Robinho Salgado tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aníbal Goiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cléberson Cruz in the 37th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joélson Messias during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Joélson Messias kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Aníbal Goiano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cléberson Cruz's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. After the first half Pitbulls United were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Rony Tande made the kick off in the second half. Pitbulls United's Aníbal Goiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robinho Salgado in the 51st minute of play. If Robinho Salgado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Cléberson Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Convento FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cléberson Cruz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aníbal Goiano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cléberson Cruz in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aníbal Goiano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Pitbulls United getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Luiz Fernando Souza hit a great ball. Aníbal Goiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cléberson Cruz in the 61st minute of play. Dudu do Vale hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute, Robinho Salgado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joélson Messias kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Convento FC's much stronger midfield.
