Guilherme Alagoano who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Elano Dantas when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Elano Dantas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guilherme Alagoano's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Guilherme Alagoano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elano Dantas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonel Bastos in the 84th minute of play forced Autoescola Tupy FC's goalkeeper Elano Dantas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guilherme Alagoano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Elano Dantas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelo Munhoz got free with Tony Guimarães in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. F.C Renegades had played much better football throughout.
