After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Guilherme Alagoano managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C Renegades's supporters rose to their feet, but Guilherme Alagoano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Augusto Duarte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Christovinho's Pedro Augusto Duarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manfredo Mesquita in the 10th minute of play. Manfredo Mesquita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Augusto Duarte having to interfere. Guilherme Alagoano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mário Seco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Christovinho's zone, Guilherme Alagoano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Augusto Duarte came out of the goal and Guilherme Alagoano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pedro Augusto Duarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guilherme Alagoano in the 28th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, Guilherme Alagoano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Augusto Duarte. Christovinho's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guilherme Alagoano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Christovinho's Pedro Augusto Duarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guilherme Alagoano in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Delfim de Amorim was the one to do the kick off. Guilherme Alagoanos short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Pedro Augusto Duarte to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mário Seco during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A hard shot 56 in the game by Guilherme Alagoano from a close distance when the talented Pedro Augusto Duarte managed to make a qualified save. Christovinho's players were relieved. Flávio Neiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Mário Seco was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 58 minutes had been played. Mário Seco kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guilherme Alagoano in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Augusto Duarte prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pedro Augusto Duarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guilherme Alagoano in the 66th minute of play. Horácio de Amaral hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. A collision led to Christovinho getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Anderson Pontes hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute Leonel Bastos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Augusto Duarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of F.C Renegades booed when Christovinho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horácio de Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedro Augusto Duarte made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Guilherme Alagoano sent off a good shot on target. After 79 played minutes Leonel Bastos rounded Christovinho's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-2. Guilherme Alagoano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Pedro Augusto Duarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lúcio Miranda struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Tony Guimarães didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Christovinho. F.C Renegades played a much better game than Christovinho and deserved their victory. The Christovinho players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
