In the 7th minute, Samuca de Salles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luiz Fernando Trigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 14 minutes of play, Calamar's Dedê Fernandez made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marco Brito was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Davi Linares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th match minute, Calamar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Waldemar Tavares to maneuver through the defense. Samuca de Salles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 28thth minute of the game Luiz Fernando Trigo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Clandestino FC's Marco Brito was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dedê Fernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Brito having to interfere. With a little luck, Calamar's Aírton Viana got control of the ball when Samuca de Salles tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Davi Linares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Davi Linares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aírton Viana having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Davi Linares to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuca de Salles in the 51st minute of play forced Calamar's goalkeeper Aírton Viana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luiz Fernando Trigo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marco Brito didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dedê Fernandez went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After 63 played minutes Calamar got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Fernando Trigo. Reginaldo Trevisan kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, Calamar's goal looked a bit too open when Valério da Cunha came free, but Aírton Viana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clandestino FC's Samuca de Salles got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Samuca de Salles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Aírton Viana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Davi Linares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 89 minutes into the game, Clandestino FC's Davi Linares nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aírton Viana made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. An unexpected shot in the 96th minute by Luiz Fernando Trigo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.
