Luiz Fernando Mazza made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Armandinho Cunha sent off a good shot on target. FC DOIDO's Aykutalp Özhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Valle in the 35th minute of play. Marcelo Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aykutalp Özhan having to interfere. Real Sport Club's Kaká Queiroz got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The corner led to FC DOIDO's Nando Pires getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Real Sport Club's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
