Davi Linares started the match with the kick off. Davi Linares was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 3rd minute. Clandestino FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Delfim de Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Allan Chaves during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 8th match minute, Clandestino FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Allan Chaves to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th minute, Delfim de Amorim made a precise shot to the right of Marco Brito. Clandestino FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. With a little luck, Christovinho's Pedro Augusto Duarte got control of the ball when Samuca de Salles tried to sneak it across the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Clandestino FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lúcio Miranda came free, but Marco Brito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clandestino FC's Marco Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delfim de Amorim in the 21st minute of play. After 27 played minutes Clandestino FC got a freekick which was hit by Allan Chaves. Marco Brito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delfim de Amorim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Davi Linares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Augusto Duarte having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Delfim de Amorim to strike the kick off in the second half. 61 minutes into the match, Christovinho's goal looked a bit too open when Samuca de Salles came free, but Pedro Augusto Duarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Davi Linares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 67 minutes, Guilherme Donato mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Christovinho and the Clandestino FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Christovinho's Guilherme Donato got a free kick in the 67th minute. Allan Chaves, 68 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Delfim de Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marco Brito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delfim de Amorim, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 78th minute Samuca de Salles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Augusto Duarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Delfim de Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Brito having to interfere. Delfim de Amorim kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Samuca de Salles's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Augusto Duarte read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. After 87 played minutes Christovinho got a freekick which was hit by João Carlos Zanette. Christovinho's Pedro Augusto Duarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ian Varela in the 93rd minute of play. Delfim de Amorim struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Marco Brito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Christovinho. The Christovinho supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Christovinho would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
