Pote's Zé Augusto Silva got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pedro Augusto Duarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wanderson Queirós in the 10th minute of the match. Waldemar Ferraz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pedro Augusto Duarte. Christovinho's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Pedro Augusto Duarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Augusto Silva in the 12th minute of the match. Pedro Augusto Duarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Guilherme Rocha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fausto Martins during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fausto Martins kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Luiz Guilherme Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Pedro Augusto Duarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 22 minutes, Luiz Guilherme Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pote's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luiz Guilherme Rocha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wanderson Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Augusto Duarte having to interfere. Luiz Guilherme Rocha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Christovinho's Fausto Martins got a free kick in the 28th minute. Guilherme Donato kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Zé Augusto Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Augusto Duarte having to interfere. Pedro Augusto Duarte stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zé Augusto Silva's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. Luiz Guilherme Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lúcio Miranda made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Giovanni Paraense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christovinho's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Zé Augusto Silva 64 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. Ramiro de Queirós received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pedro Augusto Duarte came out and tried to block the shot, but Ramiro de Queirós slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 69th minute. 75 minutes into the game, Luiz Guilherme Rocha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Pedro Augusto Duarte was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Faustão Mesquita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lúcio Miranda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Pote's zone, Lúcio Miranda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Faustão Mesquita came out of the goal and Lúcio Miranda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Waldemar Ferraz hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 89th minute, Mário Seco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Christovinho fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. In the 92nd minute, Zé Augusto Silva made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Augusto Duarte. Christovinho's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. Faustão Mesquita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lúcio Miranda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
