Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jacinto Lago in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aírton Viana prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 16 minutes of play, Autoescola Tupy FC's Jacinto Lago made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aírton Viana was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aírton Viana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Munhoz in the 21st minute of play. Jacinto Lago's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aírton Viana read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Jacinto Lago managed to get in a good position for a shot. Autoescola Tupy FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacinto Lago was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aírton Viana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jacinto Lago recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luiz Fernando Trigo struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Elano Dantas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Calamar. 37 minutes into the match, Autoescola Tupy FC's goalkeeper Elano Dantas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dedê Fernandez. Dedê Fernandez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elano Dantas having to make a save. Luiz Fernando Trigo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elano Dantas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Luiz Fernando Trigo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 46th minute. Calamar's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance.

63 minutes into the match, Autoescola Tupy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Fernando Trigo came free, but Elano Dantas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elano Dantas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldemar Tavares in the 69th minute of the match. Marcelo Munhoz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Aírton Viana made a huge save. In the 85th minute, Alessandro Romero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcelo Munhoz scored 0-3 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aírton Viana, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marcelo Munhoz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Autoescola Tupy FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
