In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Sport Club's goalkeeper Luiz Fernando Mazza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 7 minutes into the match, Wanderson Queirós dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Luiz Fernando Mazza, 1-0. After 10 played minutes Pote got a freekick which was hit by Giovanni Paraense. Giovanni Paraense charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Giovanni Paraense the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Faustão Mesquita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaká Queiroz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luiz Fernando Mazza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Augusto Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute Marcelo Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faustão Mesquita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Real Sport Club's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Luiz Guilherme Rocha came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Pote fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Guilherme Rocha couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wanderson Queirós in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luiz Fernando Mazza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Faustão Mesquita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felippe Lago in the 93rd minute of the match. Luiz Guilherme Rocha took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luiz Fernando Mazza. Luiz Fernando Mazza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. There was no doubt that Pote were the better team. Pote's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
