The supporters of WIND CASTLE RS - BRASIL booed when Arraias FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruy Falcão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Deivid Sarmento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dino Braga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Alfredo Alves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Válbson Catarinense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Dino Braga managed to get in a good position for a shot. WIND CASTLE RS - BRASIL's supporters rose to their feet, but Dino Braga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfredo Alves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dino Braga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wesley Terra to make the kick off. WIND CASTLE RS - BRASIL's Valdir dos Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felippe da Cunha in the 67th minute of play. In the 70th match minute, Arraias FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denílson Hermes to maneuver through the defense. Giovanni Soeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Alves having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Wesley Terra managed to get in a good position for a shot.
