In the 5th match minute, Jango FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amílton Araújo to maneuver through the defense. 6 minutes into the match, Jango FC's goalkeeper Reynaldo de Queirós had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gláuber Figueiredo. Reynaldo de Queirós made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastião Ferraz in the 8th minute. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dietrichz FC's goalkeeper Valdomiro Berger, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Jango FC booed when Dietrichz FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Pedro Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 23 played minutes Jango FC got a freekick which was hit by Amílton Araújo. Jango FC's Durval Lago suffered a concussion in the 31st minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Vânderson Romero charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vânderson Romero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 32 played minutes Dietrichz FC got a freekick which was hit by Vânderson Romero. In the 35th minute Jaime Rodrigues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdomiro Berger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Geovanni Fantini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Jaime Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gláuber Figueiredo got free with Reynaldo de Queirós in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half Jango FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vito Salles made a kick off. Romeu Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th minute, Jango FC's Geovanni Fantini ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Valdomiro Berger. Valdomiro Berger yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. If Geovanni Fantini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ronaldo Ramalho during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ronaldo Ramalho hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute, Romeu Antunes made a precise shot to the right of Valdomiro Berger. Dietrichz FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. In the 78th minute, Geovanni Fantini ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Valdomiro Berger was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. In the 83rd minute Gláuber Figueiredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo de Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jaime Rodrigues hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Geovanni Fantini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Valdomiro Berger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Dietrichz FC's goalkeeper Valdomiro Berger had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jaime Rodrigues.
