Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jaime Rodrigues started the match with the kick off. Jaime Rodrigues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Gernando Brasil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 5th minute, Matheus das Neves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 7 minutes into the match, Jango FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Cabral came free, but Reynaldo de Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gernando Brasil made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jaime Rodrigues in the 8th minute. After a rather tough play, Ghost EC's Luiz Gustavo de Senna got a free kick in the 9th minute. Jaime Rodrigues struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Gernando Brasil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jango FC. Romeu Antunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Gernando Brasil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Jango FC booed when Ghost EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Salles didn't get a good kick on the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Ghost EC's goalkeeper Gernando Brasil had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jaime Rodrigues. Ghost EC's Gernando Brasil proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Ghost EC from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jaime Rodrigues in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gernando Brasil saved Ghost EC from getting behind. In the 27th minute Luiz Gustavo de Senna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo de Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 32 minutes, Durval Lago managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jango FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Durval Lago was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 33rd match minute, Jango FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amílton Araújo to maneuver through the defense. When Jango FC's Jaime Rodrigues in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ghost EC's goalie prevented a goal. Reynaldo de Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matheus das Neves in the 43rd minute of the match. 46 minutes into the game, Jaime Rodrigues recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gernando Brasil. Jaime Rodrigues showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ernesto Cabral to strike the kick off in the second half. Matheus das Neves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Reynaldo de Queirós made a huge save. If Jaime Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jango FC's Jaime Rodrigues got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luiz Gustavo de Senna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Reynaldo de Queirós made a huge save. After 64 played minutes Ghost EC got a freekick which was hit by Edmundo Bertassi. Gernando Brasil didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Durval Lago went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. 71 minutes into the match, Matheus das Neves had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Reynaldo de Queirós. Jango FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matheus das Neves was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Gustavo Salles hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luiz Gustavo de Senna in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reynaldo de Queirós prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 83rd play minutes Jaime Rodrigues shot 4-1, a short shot which went by Gernando Brasil and just under the crossbar into goal. Durval Lago scored 5-1 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gernando Brasil, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gernando Brasil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romeu Antunes, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Gernando Brasil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Rodrigues in the 93rd minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Jango FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ghost EC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
