Duda do Vale recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 27th match minute, Taxistas Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guto Miranda to maneuver through the defense. Rui Macedo made in the 32nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Taxistas Futebol Clube's Jacinto Garcia. 45 minutes into the match, Taxistas Futebol Clube's Guto Miranda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Valdomiro Berger narrowly saved just below the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vito Salles was the one to do the kick off. Vito Salles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Luís Lopes having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Taxistas Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Vito Salles came free, but Pedro Luís Lopes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Vito Salles came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Dietrichz FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vito Salles couldn't finish the play. If Fernandinho Nunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Taxistas Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Guto Miranda hit a great ball. The Dietrichz FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
