After a rather tough play, WIND CASTLE RS - BRASIL's Deivid Sarmento got a free kick in the 14th minute. Valdir dos Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernesto Cabral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dino Braga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gernando Brasil having to interfere. Giovanni Soeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gernando Brasil having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, WIND CASTLE RS - BRASIL's Dino Braga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gernando Brasil narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Válbson Catarinense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ghost EC's Gernando Brasil proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Ghost EC from getting a goal against them. When Luiz Gustavo de Senna fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ghost EC's protests and gave Luiz Gustavo de Senna a yellow card for diving instead. In the 38th minute, Luiz Gustavo de Senna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gernando Brasil came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by WIND CASTLE RS - BRASIL's Válbson Catarinense. But to his dismay, Válbson Catarinense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Giovanni Soeiro made a kick off. Gernando Brasil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dino Braga in the 53rd minute of play. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind WIND CASTLE RS - BRASIL's goalkeeper Valdir dos Santos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ernesto Cabral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Valdir dos Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dino Braga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gernando Brasil having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 70 minutes, Valdir dos Santos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. WIND CASTLE RS - BRASIL's Válbson Catarinense quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Rubens Berger, made in the 71st minute of the game. 74 minutes into the match, WIND CASTLE RS - BRASIL's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Cabral came free, but Valdir dos Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dino Braga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matheus das Neves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Valdir dos Santos made a huge save. In the 86th minute WIND CASTLE RS - BRASIL were awarded a corner. Deivid Sarmento went to the cornerflag to take it. Deivid Sarmento made a great header on WIND CASTLE RS - BRASIL's corner, it was just that Ghost EC's Gernando Brasil managed to reach the ball for a save. Deivid Sarmento's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gernando Brasil read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. After 89 minutes of play, WIND CASTLE RS - BRASIL's Dino Braga made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gernando Brasil was left in no man's land by his defense there! 93 minutes into the match, Ernesto Cabral notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of WIND CASTLE RS - BRASIL's Valdir dos Santos. Valdir dos Santos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee ended the match the WIND CASTLE RS - BRASIL players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
