Spectators: 7199 (Terracing: 5401, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ernesto Cabral took the kick off in the first half of the match. Olavo Batista's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gernando Brasil read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. In the 12thth minute of the game Gláuber Figueiredo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ghost EC's Gernando Brasil was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vito Salles struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Gernando Brasil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dietrichz FC. A collision led to Dietrichz FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Sebastião Ferraz hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Ghost EC's Murillo Matos tried to score from far away in the 18th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 20 played minutes Ghost EC got a freekick which was hit by Edmundo Bertassi. Dietrichz FC's Sebastião Ferraz pulled a muscle in his leg after 25 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 26 played minutes Ghost EC got a freekick which was hit by Edmundo Bertassi. Matheus das Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ghost EC's Matheus das Neves got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 35th minute, Ghost EC's Ernesto Cabral dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Gláuber Figueiredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gernando Brasil having to interfere. Gláuber Figueiredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olavo Batista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Gernando Brasil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

If Ernesto Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute, Matheus das Neves made a precise shot to the right of Valdomiro Berger. Dietrichz FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Valdomiro Berger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matheus das Neves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute, Gláuber Figueiredo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Dietrichz FC's Vito Salles got a free kick in the 77th minute. The supporters of Dietrichz FC booed when Ghost EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmundo Bertassi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matheus das Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vito Salles charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vito Salles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 91 played minutes Dietrichz FC got a freekick which was hit by Vito Salles. In the 92nd minute, Ernesto Cabral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 96 minutes, Ernesto Cabral managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ghost EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernesto Cabral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ghost EC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
