Zézinho Marquez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diguinho Novaes, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Cesinha Garcia kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Diguinho Novaes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zézinho Marquez having to make a save. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Noel Maranhense made a kick off. Joaquim Peres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noel Maranhense in the 52nd minute of play. Augusto Soeiros short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Joaquim Peres to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Luís Paulo Sena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zézinho Marquez having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Diguinho Novaes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, tgauatingaQNG-df's Felipe Veloso got a free kick in the 77th minute. Zézinho Marquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Gaúcho in the 81st minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, tgauatingaQNG-df's Diguinho Novaes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zézinho Marquez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Diguinho Novaes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zézinho Marquez was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. When Cesinha Garcia came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Lokomotiv Football Art fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cesinha Garcia couldn't finish the play.
