The supporters of FAVELA FC booed when tgauatingaQNG-df was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geovânio Botelho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nilmar Galvão took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joaquim Peres. Joaquim Peres dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Inácio Galvão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 14th match minute, tgauatingaQNG-df was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fausto Gaúcho to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th match minute, tgauatingaQNG-df was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Paulo Sena to maneuver through the defense. Chiquinho Varela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Joaquim Peres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nilmar Galvão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Joaquim Peres made a huge save. After 22 minutes, Fausto Gaúcho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the tgauatingaQNG-df and the FAVELA FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 23 minutes into the match, FAVELA FC's Cacá Valle broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. FAVELA FC's Nilmar Galvão got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 30th minute, Diguinho Novaes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The tgauatingaQNG-df fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. FAVELA FC's Cafu Viana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diguinho Novaes in the 35th minute of play. tgauatingaQNG-df's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ediberto Meirelles in the 42nd minute. Felipe Veloso made a great header on tgauatingaQNG-df's corner, it was just that FAVELA FC's Cafu Viana managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, FAVELA FC's Cafu Castro got a free kick in the 44th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nilmar Galvão to make the kick off. Nilmar Galvão took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joaquim Peres. Joaquim Peres dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 56th minute Diguinho Novaes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cafu Viana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Chiquinho Varela fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FAVELA FC's protests and gave Chiquinho Varela a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FAVELA FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Chiquinho Varela hit a great ball. 61 minutes into the match, FAVELA FC's goalkeeper Cafu Viana had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Paulo Sena. When Chiquinho Varela was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 61 minutes had been played. 63 minutes into the match, FAVELA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Diguinho Novaes came free, but Cafu Viana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cafu Castro hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Cafu Viana made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Inácio Galvão sent off a good shot on target. Diguinho Novaes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cafu Viana having to interfere. Nilmar Galvão took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joaquim Peres. Joaquim Peres dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Thomás Tande kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the FAVELA FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
