The referee ignored Lokomotiv Football Art's protests and gave Augusto Soeiro a yellow card for diving instead. After 7 played minutes Lokomotiv Football Art got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Soeiro. João Pedro Prata kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Augusto Soeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Sebastião Velasco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Augusto Soeiro got free with Sebastião Velasco in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Nemoel United's Sebastião Velasco got control of the ball when Augusto Soeiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Noel Maranhense in the 21st minute of play forced Nemoel United's goalkeeper Sebastião Velasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Noel Maranhense in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sebastião Velasco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zézinho Marquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hélder de Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Augusto Soeiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Sebastião Velasco made a huge save. If Augusto Soeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute of the match Caco Zanette shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zézinho Marquez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Hélder de Amaral's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zézinho Marquez was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Lokomotiv Football Art's zone, Daniel Sena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zézinho Marquez came out of the goal and Daniel Sena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hélder de Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Zézinho Marquez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Daniel Sena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hélder de Amaral stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Zézinho Marquez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hélder de Amaral's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Zézinho Marquez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Sena in the 59th minute. Hélder de Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zézinho Marquez having to interfere. Daniel Sena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 66th minute, Hélder de Amaral ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zézinho Marquez was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The audience was convinced that Augusto Soeiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sebastião Velasco was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. In the 74th minute Augusto Soeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastião Velasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nemoel United's Sebastião Velasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Soeiro in the 76th minute of play. 77 minutes into the game, Augusto Soeiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Sebastião Velasco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 84th minute, Augusto Soeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew the final whistle, Lokomotiv Football Art could leave the field as winners, despite Nemoel United having more of the ball for most of the match.
