Fiori de Carvalho helped the player get up and apologised. With a little luck, Pratas da Casa FC's Luís Gustavo Pereira got control of the ball when Sebastião Valladares tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Paulo Faria came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Pratas da Casa FC fans jumped to their feet. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ramiro Esteves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sebastião Valladares to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Sílvio Luiz Machado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ramiro Esteves came out and tried to block the shot, but Paulo Faria slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 86th minute. The Pratas da Casa FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pratas da Casa FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
