An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Koehler in the 24th minute of play forced Emile EC's goalkeeper Arí Bueno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Pendencias AD's Edmílson Amorim got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 37th minute, Vitinho Schmidt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Emile EC's goalkeeper Arí Bueno, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Simão Guerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Dorival Bertassi made the kick off in the second half. Cido Dionísio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simão Guerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arí Bueno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorival Bertassi in the 64th minute of play. Emile EC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 66th minute, when Edmílson Amorim scored to the left of an out of position Arí Bueno, making the score, 1-1. Dionísio Recife received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Cido Dionísio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dionísio Recife charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dionísio Recife the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Emile EC's Arí Bueno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dorival Bertassi in the 89th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dionísio Recife in the 92nd minute of play forced Pendencias AD's goalkeeper Cido Dionísio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Pendencias AD's Zé Carlos da Fonseca got a free kick in the 94th minute. Nico Campidelis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cido Dionísio. Pendencias AD's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Pendencias AD succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Emile EC had controlled the match.
