Woller FC's Téo Viana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Botelho in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Woller FC's goalkeeper Téo Viana, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 25 minutes, Ismael Breckenfeld mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Woller FC and the Rebaixados F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Woller FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Ismael Breckenfeld hit a great ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Cícero Silva made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Zé Roberto Nunes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Woller FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Zé Roberto Nunes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Carlos Alagoano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Serafim Garcia might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Téo Viana. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Serafim Garcia ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 84th match minute, Rebaixados F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogério Catarinense to maneuver through the defense. Woller FC were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after Rebaixados F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rui do Valle took the corner. The corner ended in Gernando Guerra almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Rebaixados F.C.'s João Carlos Alagoano did a great save. The Rebaixados F.C. players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Woller FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
