Danilo Berger was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dorival Bertassi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 40 minute of play. Cido Dionísio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raí Linhares in the 45th minute of play. A collision led to Pendencias AD getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Tião Carioca hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dorival Bertassi to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Breno Queiroz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cido Dionísio. That made the score 1-3 in the 52 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Socceer FC's Raí Linhares got a free kick in the 57th minute. Alfredão da Costa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Cido Dionísio made a huge save. With a little luck, Pendencias AD's Cido Dionísio got control of the ball when Raí Linhares tried to sneak it across the goal line.
